Recently, I completed 6 months working as a web developer.

It has been an exciting journey so far with me learning and discovering new things every day.

One thing I realized early in my career is that you need to be always open to learning new things in the field of Information Technology.

I am still nowhere near what you would call an expert in my field, but I do feel like I am no longer a beginner either.

I feel like one of the most important factors about how productive you can be is the work environment in your workplace. I feel privileged to be able to work in a supportive environment and I feel in my time working here I have become accustomed to the habits of people around me and it has allowed the communication to become smoother and hence improved the collective productivity.

Considering my good performance, I have been awarded with more projects and responsibilities.

My most recent project was an e-commerce website coming from an Australian client. It was a great experience working on the new project and it allowed me to see how much I have improved since the first project and how much people have started to believe in my abilities. It has been a great confidence booster for me as well.

I’ve created a lot of websites as projects, ranging from my portfolio website to e-commerce websites, but creating a professional website using the right steps rather than moving slowly and putting it off taught me how huge projects are handled by a business. I also discovered that efficiency in work is more significant than simply working hard. Money is time. I learned how to organize my workload by day and how to write clear, understandable code for use by others. I also learned how to study other people’s code for references.

Seeing other people work and learn new things makes me feel like I am also growing by learning and being in the same workspace as them. When you work together with others you get a taste of their thought process as well and we all know that two people are better than one. That helps when you are trying to solve the problem as there are more people to help you debug, which makes me believe working from the office is much better than work from home. I am looking for ward to what the future holds for me.
